Study for Sky by Sandra Porter
I have an uncompromising commitment to the traditions of Abstract Geometric Art, though I sometimes draw upon representational imagery and find inspiration particularly in architecture. In June 2014 I visited the Isle of Skye for the first time and whilst struck by the beauty and wildness of the landscape, the images I took back to the studio with me were those of the corrugated iron bothans that sit in the landscape telling of a more recent history of the island.
